URDU EDUCATION : FORMAL AND DISTANCE EDUCATION
Talking about schools Inkels and Smith says,
"In large scale complex societies no attribute of the person predicts his attitudes, values and behaviour more consistently or more powerfully than the amount of schooling he has received".
No doubt education as a weapon can be used to mould the minds of the young who regarded as an essentially conservative cultures preserving, cultural transmitting, and cultural traits to young generation. The education system now tends to be viewed as the master determinant of all aspects of change. It is true that any system can not flourish without new educational technological input. These inputs give the strength to the man to cope up with new challenges.
Appreciating the fact that unless the Urdu medium education is provided with new educational technological inputs, the system will not grow. NCPUL has decided to contribute to the education through Urdu medium at Primary, Secondary and Higher levels by providing qualitative texts, reference books etc. |
